Kingston, July 15, 2023 – Avant Academy of Music, a leading institution in music education, is thrilled to announce its first-ever Singers Showcase, taking place on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 6:30 pm. The highly anticipated event will be held at Johhny's Live, located at 35 Dunrobin Avenue. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the remarkable progress and talent nurtured within the Avant Academy of Music community.
The Singers Showcase marks a significant milestone for the "Fundamentals of Singing" Program, which has been a core offering at Avant Academy of Music since October 2021. Over time, the program has grown, resulting in the emergence of three distinct levels of singing students. The Showcase will serve as a platform to celebrate their achievements and showcase their growth as vocalists.
In addition to the remarkable talents of Avant Academy students, the Singers Showcase will also feature performances by students from the Alicia Taylor School of Music. Alicia Taylor, a distinguished singer and vocal coach, has been an invaluable substitute teacher within the Fundamentals of Singing Program, contributing to its success.

Avant Academy of Music's Fundamentals of Singing program has been instrumental in empowering women between the ages of 35 and 65, who have long harbored a desire to learn the art of singing. The program has successfully attracted students from various backgrounds, including many who actively participate in church congregations. These students aspire to contribute to their church fellowships, enriching choirs and praise & worship teams with their newfound vocal abilities.
The Singers Showcase promises to be an evening filled with enchanting performances, heartfelt melodies, and a celebration of musical growth.
