Music is one of the things that come to mind when you think of Jamaica. There is an assumption that Jamaicans are vibrant people, and ready to sing and dance at the drop of a hat whether that be in the styles of Reggae, Dancehall, Traditional or, Gospel music.
We at Avant Academy of Music have sought to go beyond these assumptions of talent and ability and provide educational services that truly meet the needs of our people.
We believe in providing programs that are designed with the needs of our customers in mind and be of a global standard.
We have maintained that standard over the years whether we are delivering private lessons, Musical theatre programs, voice classes or drumming lessons. founder
40 years of experience in the music industry and music education. His focus is on finding the best ways to educate Jamaicans.
A big focus of his research is on the factors of learning and empowerment for Afro-Jamaicans and the effective implementation of situation analysis in developing curricula.
He is well known in Jamaica as a guitarist and is very active as a composer of film scores.
